Ellison Construction has commenced work on The Central, a mixed-use development located at 1301 Central Avenue in St. Petersburg’s EDGE District. This 2.1-acre project is a collaboration between J Square Developers, DDA Development, Ellison Development, and Backstreets Capital, LLC, who have previously partnered on local developments such as The Salvador, St. James Townhomes, and The Nolen.

  • Hotel: A 15-story upscale Marriott Autograph Collection hotel featuring a bar, flagship restaurant, meeting and conference rooms, event spaces, fitness facilities open to the public via memberships, a multi-level theater, and a rooftop pool.
  • Office Space: A 12-story tower offering 125,000 square feet of Class A office space, marking the first such construction in downtown St. Petersburg since the 1980s.
