The final award winner for the annual St. Pete Downtown Partnership event was for historic preservation. The Partnership commented, “We recognize the value of historic buildings in our evolving urban center. When developers go out of their way to save significant structures and incorporate those structures into a new development, everyone wins. This is a much better approach than third party designations or efforts to freeze neighborhoods in time. Our final award goes to Backstreets Capital for the Cade Allen House at Mirror Lake.”
