Strum Place, a mixed-use townhome community developed by St. Petersburg-based J Square Developers and Backstreets Capital, is approaching completion at 6366 Central Avenue in west St. Petersburg. The project comprises nine luxury townhomes and the renovation of the historic Strum House into a veterinary and grooming clinic.

Project Highlights

  • Townhomes: Each of the nine three-story units offers 2,040 square feet of living space, featuring three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, expansive second-floor balconies, two-car garages, and chef’s kitchens with quartz countertops. Buyers have options for high-end design finishes and private elevators. Three corner units include private fenced side yards, catering to pet owners. Five townhomes are under contract, with remaining units priced starting in the $700,000s.
  • Historic Preservation: The 100-year-old Strum House is being renovated to house Heart + Paw, a veterinary and grooming clinic, preserving the site’s historical significance.
  • Environmental Considerations: The development preserves four mature oak trees along 64th Street, enhancing privacy and maintaining the neighborhood’s tree canopy.
  • Location: Situated along the SunRunner bus rapid transit route, Strum Place offers convenient access to downtown St. Petersburg and nearby amenities.
